Job Description: 

Overview

Provides administrative, financial and event support to the Business Development and Culture and Entertainment Teams.

 

(Temporary Part Time for Approximately 8 months)

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and processes records in SAP and other applicable programs, including Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Performs data entry and ensures accuracy of entries.
  • Provides confidential administrative support to Manager, Business Development and the division.
  • Provides event assistance to the Economic Development team.
  • Coordinates administration of real estate contracts, including purchase order requests, monitoring invoices, and maintaining spreadsheets related to past and present projects.
  • Performs research, data gathering and data management for various assignments, projects, schedules, and as needed, attends meetings.
  • Provides data input, administration and management for Salesforce
  • Monitor and track expiration dates of insurance certificates and lease agreements to ensure timely renewal.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators to monitor progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Provides backup to the Economic Development Assistant in the absence of the incumbent.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience such as customer service, use of SAP, Microsoft Excel.

  • Hours of Work: Up to 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to input and maintain data accurately, efficiently with attention to detail.
  • Highly developed administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting established timelines.
  • Proficient in the use of computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Concour and Salesforce.
  • Proven researching skills with the ability to compile information for reports and other applicable documentation.
  • Ability to participate as an effective team member. 
  • Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization.
  • Reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
